In Case You Might Be Wondering…

THE RESTAURANT

  • Yes! Devour is a single-story building with accessible parking and a deluxe bathroom for wheelchair users. If you have any specific seating requests, just let us know when booking—we’ll make sure you’re comfortable.

  • Absolutely! Little Devourees are always welcome. We have a children’s menu, plus comfy booster seats suitable from 6 months+.

  • Not quite, but we do our best to seat larger bookings in dedicated areas of the restaurant for a more private feel, we do offer different party packages for more information – fill in this form?

  • We clearly label allergens on our menus, but as we have an open kitchen, we can’t guarantee that dishes will be 100% free from trace elements (including nuts and gluten). If you have a serious allergy, please let us know when booking, and we’ll do our very best to accommodate you.

  • Yes! We always have vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu, and we’re happy to adapt where possible—just ask.

  • For food safety reasons, we don’t allow outside cakes. However, we’ve partnered with a local artisan bakery, so you can order a celebration cake through us—just give us 5 days’ notice. – link here to our cakes

    Decorations: Due to our high ceilings, we kindly ask that balloons are not brought into the restaurant.

  • Inside? Sorry, no.
    Outside? Absolutely! Our Riverside Garden is dog-friendly, so your four-legged friends are welcome to join you there.

Outdoor

  • We’d always recommend it, especially on weekends, but we’ll do our best to welcome walk-ins across the restaurant, bar and terrace whenever we can. Book Here

  • This is Yorkshire, after all. While parts of our terrace are covered with a permanent roof and retractable awnings, we may move bookings indoors if needed due to weather or service flow.

  • Inside? Afraid not. Outside? Absolutely. Our riverside terrace is dog-friendly, we just ask they stay on a lead so we can keep everything running smoothly.

  • Yes, with a mix of covered areas and open space, so you can enjoy the sunshine when it shows up (and stay dry when it doesn’t).

  • There are electric heaters and blankets available by the host stand, just ask the team if you need anything.

  • Not on the terrace itself, but we do have designated smoking areas just to the side of the building.

  • Yes, our terrace and patio areas are fully wheelchair accessible.

    Although parts of the terrace are gravelled. Feel free to call us on 01484 684793 and we’ll make every adjustment possible to make your visit a stress-free one.

Bookings

  • We highly recommend booking, especially for weekends, but we always do our best to accommodate walk-ins across the restaurant, bar, and outdoor spaces. You can book a table Here

  • You can book in three easy ways:

    • Pop in and we can book you in-person

  • For groups of 12+, we require a pre-order so yes, but please fill in this enquiry form.

  • To secure your booking, we kindly ask for credit card details for parties of 2 or more.

    • No charge upfront.

    • Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged £10 per person.

    • If you need to cancel or amend, you can do so via your confirmation email or by calling us. If we’re busy during service, just leave a message, and we’ll get back to you.

General

  • Yes! Our wood-fired pizzas are available for for takeaway. You can either order via deliveroo Here or give us a ring at 01484 684793 and you can pick them up from the restaurant.

    (please note our deliveroo service only operates within a 5 mile radius of the restaurant)

  • Vouchers can be purchased in person at Devour or ordered online Here.

  • Plenty of free parking!

     Leaving your car overnight? That’s fine—just note that gates open at 10:30 am Thursday–Sunday, and we’re closed on Mondays & Tuesdays, so please don’t leave your car overnight on a Sunday.
