Weave Your Own Willow Hanging Basket

  • Devour at the Dyehouse Luke Lane Thongsbridge Holmfirth, HD9 7TB (map)

This ia a half-day workshop, led by renowned basket maker and artist Joe Gregory.

For over 15 years, Joe has been teaching this beloved Craft all made from English willow.

Create an elegant willow hanging basket in this inspiring workshop. Whether you use it for draping plants, storing precious items, or even as a charming birdfeeder, this versatile design looks beautiful in a window, on a wall, or hanging from a tree outdoors.

Suitable for beginners and intermediate weavers, you’ll learn essential basketry techniques to craft a stylish woven piece. Along the way, I’ll share tips and ideas for experimenting with different shapes, patterns, and designs, so you can continue to create unique hanging baskets at home.
