Food As Medicine: A Hale Pule Ayurvedic Culinary Workshop

Myra Lewin, master Yogini, Ayurveda practitioner and founder of Hale Pule School of Ayurveda and Yoga, will be joining us for a half-day, hands-on culinary workshop. Teaching you to cook with prana, intention, and the healing principles of Ayurveda.

The teachings of Ayurveda has been a great personal interest and journey for Liv (Devour’s founder) for many years so it is a fantastic pleasure to host such a knowledgeable workshop

You'll learn to:

  • Plan and prepare meals with sattva (peace and clarity).

  • Understand the role of prana in food, and in you.

  • Create a tridoshic balance bowl and explore optimal food proportions.

  • Use Ayurvedic herbs and spices for healing and balance.

  • Manage your energy in the kitchen in relation to food and cooking.

This is the place where ingredients come alive and transformation begins. We can't wait to welcome you.

“Food has always been at the heart of everything I do from growing up in an Italian family to opening Devour, to eventually burning out and finding my way back to health through Ayurveda. Now in my third year of studying Ayurveda, that journey continues to transform my life and it's why I'm so excited to bring this experience to our cookery school”

- Liv, founder of Devour

“Food is the primary medicine to heal and transform our bodies and minds."

- Myra Lewin, founder of Hale Pule School of Ayurveda and Yoga
