Riverside Dining Returns at Devour: Outdoor Italian Dining in Holmfirth

We’re delighted to say… that riverside dining is back! Enjoy our full seasonal menu out on the terrace from today!

Set beside the flowing River Holme, our terrace offers a different pace of dining. It’s where long lunches drift into late afternoons, where cocktails are sipped a little more slowly, antipasti is enjoyed at a quieter pace and where the atmosphere feels just that bit more relaxed. For those searching for a place to truly unwind near Huddersfield or Holmfirth, this is the season to visit.

Our riverside dining includes our full seasonal menu, bringing together handmade pasta, wood-fired dishes, fresh seafood, and carefully sourced Yorkshire ingredients. It’s Italian soul with a Yorkshire heart, surrounded by open air.

Alongside the food, our drinks offering comes into its own. Expect signature cocktails, spritzes and long drinks designed for sunshine, with our outdoor bar opening on warmer days to keep things flowing. Whether you’re joining us for a casual drink or a full dining experience, the terrace is made for lingering.

Through May, our outdoor dining will only be available Friday to Sunday, making it the perfect weekend escape.

From June onwards, however, riverside dining will open in line with our regular restaurant hours, giving you even more opportunities to enjoy one of the most beautiful al fresco dining experiences in West Yorkshire.

Throughout the warmer months our riverside space becomes a hub of activity. Live music will be making regular appearances throughout the summer and bank holidays (which we are always open for!) always see an event and usually a DJ set or two.
